Current Work

Providing the local planning authorities of Greater Manchester with curatorial advice regarding the impact of planning applications upon archaeological heritage interests and their significance. Encouraging appropriate methods to harness maximum knowledge gain and dissemination of results to promote the historic environment alongside sustainable development.

Research Interests

Identifying opportunities to shed light on the prehistory of Greater Manchester. Tracing the impact of urbanisation on attitudes towards green spaces, leisure, and perception of self. Engaging the public to develop sense of place, enjoyment, interaction with and ownership of local heritage.
